TimelineItem.set_output_blanking#

TimelineItem.set_output_blanking(output_blanking: OutputBlanking | dict) → bool[source]#

Sets the output blanking for the clip.

Note

The clip must have its own blanking enabled first - call set_use_timeline_for_output_blanking(False), otherwise this returns False.

Parameters:

output_blanking (OutputBlanking | dict) – blanking in pixels, with the keys "Top", "Bottom", "Left" and "Right"

Returns:

True if successful, False otherwise

bool
